FiiWA Vest

The FiiWA Sensor Vest is at the core of unassisted player mobility. The vest guides players through a space using various microcontrollers and sensors. It detects objects and people in the wearer’s path (360 degrees) and using patterned vibrations, alerts the user to the distance of the object, whether or not that object is a player, and that player’s team affiliation. A separate signal around the waist orients players, informing them of the goal’s location in relation to the direction they are facing.

The FiiWA Vest comfortably slips over the head and the side panels are easily adjusted to accommodate a variety of body types.
